However they do not increase in any way the effectiveness of what they do or optimize operations of the company. ERP/MRP class systems were long ago accepted by the market. However the CRM/DMS class systems integrated with ERP/MRP solutions and BI are not so common. CRM systems support the handling of a full spectrum of customers, retail, wholesale as well as business contractors and business partners. Commercial business operations begin with marketing, the organization of communication with customers, participation in trade shows, conferences, etc.
After the initial contact with a customer and a successful negotiation, the stage ends with a contract. Up to this very point all the information related to the customer are gathered in the Operational CRM. Once the contract is signed and the customer makes a purchase, he is still covered by the CRM Activities so that he will make further purchases in the longer time horizon. In this moment the Service CRM becomes co active providing the after sales support and post guarantee service related to the exploitation of purchased goods and services. Having the above two modules at disposal, integrated with the Sales module and subsequent Analytical CRM, it is possible to segment customers which bring largest profits, generate highest costs and then aim the company operations so as to maximize effectiveness. After the analysis of business operations to date and with the use of the forth module, Marketing CRM, the planning of next marketing actions takes place. At this point campaigns are defined, based on the segmentation the customers base are designated and the set of actions directed at them is selected. After campaign definition the Operational CRM will check its course. In the Task CRM the tasks for each employee are assigned together with time consumption. The end effect of CRM system is the Portfolio CRM (Forecast class solution) in which the sales plan is defined and subsequently forecasted in division into products, employees or clients. From the other side the existing business processes are described with the use of Deals, which interconnect all of the above described CRM documents (Purchase Invoices, Sales Invoices, Agreements, tasks, contacts).
DMS - Electronic repository
The idea behind system integration stems from the advantage that at any time in any place, providing there is Internet connection, the user may have full access to not only sales or warehouse information but also those which are related to relationships with customers. In the ISOF system the document management system was also integrated. It allows to achieve new quality of work for the users of ERP/MRP systems.
From the DMS level the system renders possible an instant access to electronic data that is related to a particular contractor or a business event. As a result of workflows embedded in the DMS, many business processes, including ISO implementation, can be standardized and applied in the chain of foreseeable actions and events.
In such arrangement the DMS module makes for a central deposit of all of the company's information. This includes both, the traditional salesman's memos, agreements, contracts, electronic mail, document scans, faxes, as well as voice mail. All messages can be registered and attended just like any other DMS documents, and so they come under the mechanism of group work. For example, all of the incoming and outgoing documents, from both individual and general e-mail boxes are gathered in one system and are available to all employees.
